Wow Mark, I’m really impressed. You got a chuckle out of me here and there and you hit the nail on the head, and to think i nearly didn’t read this email. Will get back to you on how i deal with these technology issues as soon as i have time ;0) heehee

Mark

Thank you, thank you for your great newsletter – I literally laughed out loud!

Your tips are also excellent – and hey, great minds think alike – I also colour code my ‘me-stuff’ in green – so if I can’t see any at a glance, I know I need to make a plan – it really works!!!

Keep up the good work!

:-) Rae

Dear Mark,

Thanks for the mail.

I have been building interactive websites since 1996, and have recently spoken to a number of people about the idea of setting up a rehabilitation centre for System Administrators. Although your email was very tongue in cheek, I do believe many a true word is said in jest.

I think that we underestimate the detriment that online life brings on one and his family. It is almost likened to smoking, as a matter of fact I would say that online addiction is even more compulsive.

I sugest that medical aids or employees should be paying for a withdrawl treatment at an offline health resort.

Thanks for confirming that I am not the only one that has to be pried away from the Laptop.
Alan

Hi Mark

It was wonderful to hear from you. I fortunately do not get as many mails as you but sometimes the long emails get me down, especially the chain letters etc. I am trying going to try to follow your advice . Thank you so much – love
Jaya

Mark

Yeah, yeah, yeah!

Not to mention the time spent reading newsletters from Human Potential gurus. (Whoops)!

I obviously share the addiction or I wouldn’t be writing this. Good to hear from you.

Take care!
Bill

Mark

I happened upon your newsletter by accident while clearing my junk-mail box!! I felt compelled to write and tell you that I think this newsletter is fabulous … from an e-marketing point of view …

I hope you do well!
Liz

Mark,

Just one more email to add to your list……

Well done on listing the items that consume our whole lives whilst adding little value…….I am GUILTY AS CHARGED!

Sooooo right, we live from day to day without focusing on the real things that matter in our lives….need to concentrate on the things dear to our hearts and to focus on the lighthouse!

Have a fantastic weekend!
Ross

Hi Mark

Just a quick note to clutter your inbox… joking!  I just wanted to say thanks for a brilliant e-mail – Bwahahaha!
Made my day!-)

I used to work long hours and found that the last thing I wanted to do when I got home was stare at another
computer screen!  Last year I was diagnosed with cancer (prognosis was 3 – 6 months to live without surgery).
Excellent wake-up call and when I had more surgery 2 months ago, I was satisfied that over the past year I have
really succeeded in my mission to  “live more & work less”!! Now that I work fewer hours, I spend more leisure time
on the internet and really enjoy FB, Google & e-mail…  almost to the point of addiction! So now I limit myself -
when my laptop battery runs low, I am over it and have to shut down and go and do some serious LIVING!
Maybe I’m just blonde, but it works for me:-)

Have a splendid (non- cyber) weekend.
Kind regards,
Letitia

Hi Mark

Well  I really enjoy your mail and the unique south African angle that you put across.

Cheers for now
