Ace’s Apples Productivity Improvement

Overview

Ace’s Apples is rapidly becoming one of South Africa’s foremost business improvement interventions. This proven program dramatically facilitates the empowerment, motivation, teamwork and productivity improvement of blue-collar workers and their management. Well known companies such as Peninsula Beverages (Coca Cola), Vital Health Foods, PG Bison, Burhose Ladieswear, Polyoak Visconti and House of Monatic have recently experienced the tremendous impact of this organizational development methodology.

The training is designed and facilitated by specialist associates who have an indepth understanding of the many challenges faced by manufacturing industries. One of the program’s key objectives is to clearly demonstrate these challenges to the workforce, in order that they can take ownership and responsibility instead of
shifting blame.

A second key objective is to assist in bridging the trust gap between management and the workforce, which exists in many organisations. The third key objective is to impart the latest leadership and change management skills to the management team. A recent important addition to the program is a practical module which teaches workers to take personal financial responsibility, including budgeting, saving and debt reduction skills.

A brief process overview is detailed below. Please refer to the additional attached
information sheets for more detailed information, or request a complimentary
boardroom presentation at your convenience.

  1. We interview key management role players to identify their current business needs and priorities which need to be addressed by the Ace’s Apples program.
  2. We align the key focus area of the program to meet the needs identified.
  3. We present the four workshop modules to all stakeholders.
  4. During the workshops, we obtain feedback and suggestions from delegates on practical ways to address the needs.
  5. Within 3 weeks of completion of the workshops, we present a consolidated report to management outlining our findings, delegate feedback and an action plan to sustain momentum and ensure follow-up action.
  6. If required, we offer a range of supervisory and other management training programs to equip management with powerful, practical skills to effect and sustain real behavioural change.
