Bravo!!!!

I am one of the returned expat's and this country is still an awesome place to be quirks and all!!!
The grass is not greener somewhere else, you still have to earn a living, get older and hopefully spend time with family (which is a bit difficult if they are in a different country!)
Chin up all you pessimists you can still complain about the weather!

Hi Mark,
Once again, some good reading material.
In these times we live in, it is important that we don't become ostriches and deny ourselves of the reality that lies ahead. I find it important, that one surrounds themselves with optimists.
These people, seem to have a knack of finding solutions to challenges, rather than capitulating before the dual has begun.
I can see, you are one of these gallant soldiers.
Keep the good work up.

We are aslo going to contribute towards our sustainable "energy crises" by generating Natural power via our Spinning Mobile Studios that will work on the basis of you EARN (from spinning on a bike that generates your own energy to be reused in the evening for consumption) what you BURN!

We are hopefully going to assist ESKOM with generating natural power until their Power Stations are up and running for the Informal Settlements.

Thank you for your amazing insight into South Africas progression and I truely hope that those South Africans that are abroad will be returning soon after 2010.

Thank you for your inspiration.

I'm a returned South Africa, back in Cape Town for 9 months now after 13 years in the UK. South Africa is a much nicer place to live than the UK IMO. You get to see and be immersed in REAL life, not some sanitised version of life where you don't have to think too much about the problems of the world where you are easily assimilated into the mass of consumers driving between shopping malls and eating junk food (why do you think people get fat after living in the UK for a while), while spraying themselves and their homes with anti-bacterial chemicals. Nah, give me easily accessible mountains, beaches, creativity and craftiness ('n boer maak 'n plan), a braai, a sunny afternoon and some good old fashioned dirt anyday.
